Commentary for Denise Gwen’s book
I don’t normally read romantic novels, but I received “The Tempting Alaskan Doctor “as a gift. So, on our first warm Spring Day, I decided to walk out to the hammock to relax for a while with this book in my hand.
It caught my attention right away. It had an interesting cast of flawed, loveable and sometimes quirky characters. After the death of his father, Dr. Roethlisberger continued his father’s medical practice in the Alaskan wilderness. The business was in desperate need of money in order to make necessary improvements, so he agreed to be filmed at work . Helena Parker is the young investigative journalist, who is striving to reestablish her place in Hollywood. Each carried “baggage” that unfolded through the telling of the story. The cameraman, the doctor’s partner, and the ex-wife each had a role to play. I found myself rooting for them, turning pages quickly to see what happens next!
The Tempting Alaskan Doctor is a delightful story that can be read in a day!
A wonderful review from a reader.
